Janet Devlin topped the voting for the first four weeks,it was only the introduction of Amelia Lily that stopped her winning run as she then went on to top the next two weeks votes,Little Mix topped the voting for the first time in week 7,followed again by Amelia Lily in week 8,Little Mix topped the voting in both the semi final and final,runner up Marcus Collins never topped the voting once,in fact up until the semi final he only once finished in the top two and that was in week 5.

Little Mix win the X-Factor.

Little Mix are this years x-factor winners,after beating off Marcus Collins in the final vote,they are the first group ever to win the x-factor.

Girls groups traditionally don’t do very well on the x-factor,so Little Mix have broken the mould,the group,Jesy Nelson,Leigh-Anne Pinnock,Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall auditioned individually but were then put together as a group at bootcamp,after which first time x-factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos became their mentor.

The X-Factor final was held at the Wembley arena and with only 3 acts left and no obvious winner this year,anyone from Marcus,Little Mix or Amelia could of gone out first,but unluckily for Amelia it was she that was voted off,being a latecomer to the live shows probably didn’t help her after getting voted off initially in week one by her mentor Kelly Rowland,so how ironic after Frankie Cocozza’s removal from the show and Amelias reinstatement that it was she rather than the 3 Kelly chose who ended up duetting with Kelly tonight in the final.

I predicted here that Marcus would win and even though i got the top 3 order wrong with Amelia eliminated,i still stand my prediction of Marcus winning.

Craig Colton was given the death slot on Saturdays night X-factor,being put on first is a sign that the prodcucers want you gone,it was movie theme week and Craig was given a licence to kill, to sing that is,and he certainly did kill,the song that is,and so inevitably on Sunday and to the surprise of nobody he was in the bottom two,unluckily for him he was there with one of the competitions strongest singers Amelia.

Gary as his mentor voted for Craig,likewise Kelly voted for her act Amelia,Tulisa was up next and went for Craig,so it was all down to Louis who voted for Amelia which meant deadlock and the public vote,unfortunatly for Craig he was bottom of the public vote and his X-factor journey was over.

Stacy Francis was in the bottom two this week with Astro,she lost in the judges vote by 3 votes to 1,only her mentor Nicole Scherzinger voted in her favour,however her departure was overshadowed by Astro’s reaction to being in the bottom 2,at first he said he didn’t want to perform the song to save,he only carried on upon his mentor LA Reids insistence,during the judges voting he got a ticking off.

Simon said “Look at me, and think about your mum watching the show,because you are showing disrespect to your mom. You are showing disrespect to the audience at home, and I don’t like people with this attitude.”

Astro replied “No disrespect to you or this show, but I just feel like if you’re going to put me in the bottom two, I don’t want to perform for people who don’t want me here, you know what I’m saying? That’s it.”

With the audience booing Astro and with a tear in his eye,Simon cast his vote in favour of him,saying that of the two,he was the one who had the best chance of winning the show which meant Stacy was going home.
